1756-1791

Mozart was a fun-loving, brilliant man who wrote delightful music from the age of 5 years old. His father recognized his child's amazing talents and they toured all over Europe beginning when Wolfy was 6 years old. He is remembered for writing operas like "The Magic Flute", "The Marriage of Figaro" and "Don Giovanni" and for his famous "Requiem Mass" among the over 600 pieces he composed. Mozart died penniless and was buried in an unmarked paupers' grave. His chosen name, "Amadeus", means "loved by God."
