We are always looking for good actors, and have auditions as needed throughout the year.

What we are looking for:
We search for intelligent, eager, physically and vocally versatile actors who enjoy performing for children, and who enjoy traveling. We want actors who are proactive, responsible and friendly, and who will infect audiences with their love of live theatre. We want actors who have had professional training, and we give preference to actors who have had previous experience in quality children’s theatre. We want actors who are vibrant and thoughtful communicators, good listeners, and who are positive role models. We want actors who enjoy the teaching aspect of interaction with children, as well as the performance aspect of storytelling. We hire actors over the age of 21 and generally below the age of 35 due to the physical demands of the job. All of our acting teams consist of two people, so we are always interested in seeing actor couples, or friends who would like to perform and travel together.

About the job: Actors are paid on a per show basis. We hire actors regardless of union membership or lack thereof, under our own contracts. (We have no affiliation with Actor’s Equity.) Actors share driving responsibilities while on the road so all applicants must have valid licenses and good DMV driving records. At least one actor on each team must have a dependable, insured vehicle which the team can comfortably travel in.
